Set up new order email notifications for your Square Online site

    Set up new order email notifications to control how and where your team gets notified about new orders from your Square Online site. You can update your settings in Square Online to send notifications to as many as three different emails per location. You can also completely disable notifications if you prefer not to receive any.

    Before you begin

    To set up and manage Square Online order notifications, you need to create a Square Online site. Learn how to set up your online store with Square Online.

    Depending on your email provider, notifications will sometimes be filtered to your spam folder. Double-check your spam folder and add the following email addresses to your contacts:

    • hello@weebly.com

    • noreply@weebly.com

    • no-reply@weebly.com

    • hello@emails.weebly.com

    • noreply@promote.weebly.com

    • no-reply@editmysite.com

    Set up new order emails

    1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Online.

    2. Click Settings or Shared Settings > Notifications.

    3. Toggle New order emails on or click Set up

    4. Select your location option:

      • If you select Send orders from all locations to the same email(s), you can enter up to three email addresses separated by commas.

      • If you select Send to custom email addresses by location, toggle on Notifications for each location and enter up to three email addresses separated by commas per location.

    5. Click Save.

    You will receive an email for each new order to the email addresses you added. You can update your new order email preferences from the Notifications page by clicking Edit.

    Disable new order emails

    You can disable all new order emails or emails for specific locations.

    1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Online.

    2. Click Settings or Shared Settings > Notifications.

    3. To disable new order emails for:

      1. all locations, toggle New order emails off.

      2. specific locations, click Edit and toggle Notifications off next to your location of choice.

    4. Click Save.
