Create and edit custom item attributes
About custom attributes
Custom attributes allow you to add and track additional information to your existing and new items. For example, a business that sells wine may want to store information such as vintage, origin, and tasting notes.
Before you begin
You can create custom attributes from the Square Dashboard on a laptop or desktop computer.
Make sure you’ve created at least one item in your item library before assigning a custom attribute set to an item. Learn more about how to create and edit items with Square.
