In the event that Square needs to debit your linked bank account, we’ll send an email notification to the email address associated with your Square account prior to the withdrawal and provide a detailed description of the charge in your Deposits Report tab on Dashboard.
Square may debit a bank account for one of the following reasons:
- You process a refund
- A cardholder disputes a payment by issuing a chargeback
- To charge you for a paid service
- General account adjustment
