Square puts ‘Business In Better Shape’ with new UK campaign launch highlighting how transformation boosts businesses

The multi-channel campaign spotlighting how small businesses can better leverage time and resources will roll out assets in the UK for the rest of the year

Today, Square has announced the launch of its ‘Business In Better Shape’ campaign to help businesses across the UK drive transformation and lasting change. The campaign will launch across channels and roll out over the rest of the year, starting with out-of-home (OOH), radio and digital assets launching this week, with TV commercials (TVC) and other Video on Demand (VOD) assets to follow in June.

Businesses today are out of shape as they continue to manage tough times with challenges around rising costs and dips in consumer confidence. This is impacting financial stability, talent retention, and customer loyalty, and as a result, business leaders are overwhelmed and unable to operate in a way that’s healthy, sustainable, and allows them to thrive.

Square’s campaign, ‘Business In Better Shape’, is not only a nod to the brand name, but it signals growth, structure, and optimisation for businesses to solve their main stressors and manage the everyday chaos of running a company – whether that’s through streamlining operations, increasing profits or simply working smarter. The campaign highlights businesses across the retail, food and beverage (F&B), and beauty sectors, following strong momentum in the F&B sector from its ‘Big In Restaurants’ campaign, which re-launched earlier this year.

The launch of the campaign features an array of businesses that use Square to take more control over their operations so they can continue to scale. One seller featured in the campaign’s social assets, Si Belle Beauty – a beauty Salon in London, said since using Square: “I’ve gone from working alone to opening two salons with eight staff.” Higher Ground – a British bistro and bar in Manchester, said: “Square saves us an hour’s admin a day.”

Research into Square’s portfolio of sellers revealed that one of the biggest barriers to growing business and revenue is time. Most businesses said that admin takes away the time they could be spending on improving their business. ‘Business In Better Shape’ highlights how businesses can solve these challenges through technology, including insight-driven decision making with reporting tools, freeing up time and minimising mistakes through Square’s ecosystem.
