- Everything you know and love about Square. We’ll process the payments, we’ll display the pickup orders in your Square point-of-sale, and we’ll track the orders in your Square reporting.
Frequently Asked Questions
How can I view orders placed through The Ordering.app?
Once an order is placed through your ordering site, you are able to view the order in your Square Point of Sale or Square for Restaurants app by tapping on the Orders tile.
Orders will also allow you to view your orders by order status, fulfillment type, and order source. Each order has relevant fulfillment details in the Active order view, including recipient name, fulfillment type, placed at date, order number (if provided), and fulfillment status (New, In Progress, Ready, Completed).

How much does The Ordering.app cost?
The Ordering.app is a month to month service with no setup or activation costs. They charge 45¢ flat per order. We recommend that you (the restaurant) cover these fees, but you may also choose to pass the fee along to the guest as a line item in the checkout. You will only be charged once an order is placed through The Ordering.app, and you will be charged your standard e-commerce rate with Square.
Can I offer delivery through Ordering.app?
At this time, The Ordering.app is a pickup-only service.
Will I be alerted when an order is placed?
Yes. With Square’s new Order Manager functionality, you are able to set in-app notifications for new orders, which can be toggled on or off. There are options in your notification settings for how often you want to see new order notifications.

How long does it take to get my Ordering.app site setup?
The team at The Ordering.app will work with you to connect your Square account and get your menu set up for your branded site. Anticipate your site will be ready for you to review within 24 hours. Unless you have edits, the site will then be live 24 hours after that.
