Manage Your Square Invoices Plus Subscription
With Square Invoices, you have two options: Free and Plus. Invoices Plus offers more advanced features and requires a subscription paid on a monthly basis.
If you are interested in trying out Invoices Plus, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial. Once this ends, you can subscribe from the Pricing & Subscriptions page in your online Square Dashboard.

To activate your 30-day free trial for Invoices Plus:
- Visit the Learn More page and make sure you are signed in to your Square account.
- Click Try for free for 30 days.
If you are currently in your trial for Invoices Plus and looking to subscribe, or previously didn’t subscribe once your trial ended but wish to do so now, you can perform the following steps:
- Go to Account & Settings on your online Square Dashboard.
- Click Business > Pricing & Subscriptions.
- Under ‘Subscription Pricing’, click Subscribe next to Invoices Plus.
You can pause all your subscriptions to Square products. Similar to a cancellation, each pause is managed per individual subscription. To pause your Invoices Plus subscription:
- Go to Account & Settings on your online Square Dashboard.
- Click Business > Pricing & Subscriptions.
- Under ‘Subscription Pricing’, click Manage next to Invoices Plus.
- Click Pause for up to 3 months. Once this 3-month period ends, your subscription will move back into an Active status, and your monthly charges will resume.
To cancel your subscription for Invoices Plus:
- Go to Account & Settings on your online Square Dashboard.
- Click Business > Pricing & Subscriptions.
- Under ‘Subscription Pricing’, click Manage next to Invoices Plus.
- Click Unsubscribe.
After doing so, you will lose access to paid features at the end of the current payment cycle.
