Set Up Touch Free Checkout Using Payment Links
Offer more touch-free checkout options through your Square Point of Sale by sending payment links. When you select Send Payment Link at checkout, a unique payment URL will generate which you can share with your customer via your preferred mode of contact – whether they’re in your store or on the go.
There is no monthly fee for using checkout links. You’ll only pay Square standard eCommerce processing fee of 1.4% + 25p per transaction for UK cards, 2.5% + 25p per transaction for non-UK cards.
Some immediate benefits to using this payment method:
Less Contact: Increase safety and peace of mind for your customers and staff by offering a touch-free payment experience.
Flexible options: Whether you’re selling multiple items, requesting a custom amount or have tipping enabled, this payment option flexes to fit what you’re selling.
No obstacles: Customers won’t need to enter PINs or instal special apps to pay.
Convenient payment options: Accept credit and debit cards or digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
