About Orders display options

Orders display options let you customize what appears on your Orders screen. You can simplify your view by hiding fulfillment views you don't use and enable a running in-store sales total for the logged-in team member.

  • Hide fulfillment views: If your business doesn't use certain fulfillment methods (such as Shipments or Delivery), you can hide those views from Orders. This reduces clutter and helps your team focus on relevant orders.

  • Running sales total: You can display a running in-store sales total for the currently logged-in team member. This is useful for estimating tips and balancing workloads across your team.

You can turn these display options on or off at any time from your POS app settings. Changes apply only to the device where you configure them.

Before you begin

Hide or show fulfillment views

You can hide fulfillment tabs that don't apply to your business. For example, a dine-in restaurant can hide the Shipments tab to keep the Orders view focused.

  1. Open your Square POS app and tap ≡ More > Settings > Orders.

  2. Tap Display options.

  3. Under Fulfillment views, toggle off any tabs you want to hide from Orders.

  4. Tap the back arrow to save your changes.

Hidden tabs no longer appear in Orders on that device. Orders assigned to hidden fulfillment methods still exist and appear in the All tab.

Enable or disable the running sales total

The running sales total displays the in-store sales amount for the currently logged-in team member during their session.

  1. Open your Square POS app and tap ≡ More > Settings > Orders.

  2. Tap Display options.

  3. Toggle Show “Your checks” total on or off.

  4. Tap the back arrow to save your changes.

Keep in mind:

  • The sales total shows only active, in-store orders for the logged-in team member.

  • Visibility of the sales total is subject to team member permissions.
