About Bitcoin Map
Bitcoin Map helps you discover local businesses that accept bitcoin payments. When you enable bitcoin payments with Square, you can opt in to be featured on the Bitcoin Map within Cash App, visible by 58M. This helps bitcoin users discover local businesses that accept bitcoin, driving more foot traffic to your physical location.
Your business will appear on:
BTC Map: A global directory of bitcoin-accepting merchants
Cash App's integrated map: Making your business discoverable to Cash App users looking to spend bitcoin locally
Add your business to the Bitcoin Map
You can opt in to the Bitcoin Map during the bitcoin payments setup process, or add your business later from Square Dashboard.
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Account & Settings > My Business > Locations.
Click Location sharing settings.
Enable the toggle and click Update.
You can always remove your business from the Bitcoin Map by going through the same steps and removing your business’ location from the map.
