Set up custom shipping boxes

About custom shipping boxes
Custom boxes can make shipping your products more efficient and improve your customer’s experience. If your business uses custom boxes to package orders, you can add custom box sizes to your shipping options to help estimate shipping costs.
Before you begin
Set up shipping carriers with Shippo prior to creating a custom shipping box template.
Once you’ve sourced your own custom shipping boxes, be sure to have the measurements such as the length, width, height (in inches) and the box and total maximum weight (in pounds). You can also quantify the maximum number of items per box (optional).
Real Time Shipping requires a Square Online Premium subscription.
Add custom shipping boxes
Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Account & Settings > Fulfillment > Shipment.
Click Add custom boxes > Add box template.
Enter in the box name, length, width, height, maximum weight, box weight, and maximum items allowed in the box. Check the Set as default box, if applicable.
Click Save to review shipping box details and click Add shipping box to add additional shipping boxes.
Click Done.
Update existing shipping boxes
Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Account & Settings > Fulfillment > Shipment.
Click Shipping boxes to view all your existing boxes. Select the existing shipping box you want to update.
Click the pencil icon next to the shipping box to edit and enter the updated information.
Click Save > Done.
Delete shipping boxes
Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Account & Settings > Fulfillment > Shipment.
Select an existing shipping box.
Click the pencil icon next to the shipping box and click Delete. If you are deleting your default shipping box, we’ll automatically set a different box as the new default. Click Don’t delete to return to the edit page.
Click Delete to confirm.
