Square + Google Business Profile Integration

Welcome to Square’s Beta program for integrating your Square account with Google Business Profile. We’re super excited to share this new feature with you.

This new feature will give your business visibility on Google Maps and Google Search and allows you to manage your Google presence directly from Square.

Note: This feature will also unlock the ability to set up Google Free Local Listings (Beta) for sellers subscribed to Square for Retail Plus.

Add your business to Google

  1. Visit Account & Settings from the Home screen.

  2. Click the Business dropdown on the left-hand side of the screen.

    1. Select Locations.

  3. You’ll see a banner with the Google Business Profile at the top of the Locations page. Select Get Started.

  4. Select Sign in with Google.

    1. Select your business account in the new pop-up.

    2. Review the requirements and select Allow.

  5. Select the category that best fits your business and select Continue.

  6. Fill out the fields that include basic information about your business.

    1. Select Publish.

Your business should now appear under Locations as Synced, Live.

Manage Synced Location(s)

To make manage or edit details for your synced locations:

  1. Visit Account & Settings from the Home screen.

  2. Click the Business dropdown on the left-hand side of the screen.

    1. Select Locations.

  3. On the Location Details page you can make edits (business description, business hours, etc.) that will sync directly with Google.
