Label New Clients on Your Square Appointments Calendar

Your Square Appointments calendar on your Square Appointments POS App indicates appointments with new customers with a star on the calendar event. You will also see New after the customer’s name on the appointment. This new client indicator is based on the first booking a customer places. If a customer cancels the first appointment, any following appointments they booked will not show the new client indicator.

Note: This feature is only available for non-recurring appointments.

To indicate new clients on appointments:

  • Open your Square Appointments POS app. 

  • From the calendar screen, tap the gear icon.

  • Toggle on New Client Indicator.

  • Tap Save.

To remove new client labels, follow the same steps and toggle off New Client Indicator.
