Integrate partnership platforms for Square Online pickup and delivery orders
About partnership integrations
Partnership order integrations allow you to leverage popular third-party ordering platforms your customers already use for pickup and local delivery. You can integrate popular order partnerships such as DoorDash, Deliverect and more. Once you’ve connected integrations, customers can place orders via a delivery partner and orders are routed to your POS system. With online orders automatically pushed to Square, there’s no need to manually re-enter order receipts, saving time and reducing errors.
Before you begin
Before you can integrate partnership ordering platforms, you need to create a Square Online site. Learn how to set up your online store with Square Online.
When a customer places an order through a third-party partner, you can view the delivery orders from your point of sale app. Delivery orders may reflect as pickup or kerbside orders in your point of sale app. This is due to a third-party partnership integration.
To partially or completely cancel an order, you’ll need to take action from the ordering platform where the order was placed. You won’t be able to cancel an order from your point of sale app. Once the order is cancelled through the partner, it’ll be marked as ‘Completed’ in Square.
Connect third-party integrations
Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Settings > App integrations.
Click Visit app marketplace.
Search the partnership you want to use for orders.
View the partnership information and click Get started.
Follow the prompts to integrate with the third-party platform.
