About canceling purchase orders
Changes in inventory needs, supplier issues, product quality concerns and changes in customer demand can result in cancellation of purchase orders. Cancelling a purchase order allows you to adjust your inventory plans accordingly.
Before you begin
In order to cancel a purchase order, you need to access your existing purchase orders. These can be purchase orders you received, created or previously imported. Learn how to receive, create, and import purchase orders with Square for Retail.
Cancel a purchase order
Log in to your Square Dashboard and navigate to Items & orders > Items.
Click Inventory management > Purchase orders.
Click ••• next to the purchase order you’d like to cancel.
Click Cancel Order.
It is not possible to cancel purchase orders from the Square Retail POS app at this time.
