About Local Cash rewards in Neighborhoods on Cash App
Customers that place orders from businesses that participate in Neighborhoods on Cash App will earn 10% of their order subtotal in Local Cash. Rewards are calculated as: 10% x order subtotal = Local Cash earned.
Earning rewards on the order subtotal creates a clear and consistent experience for buyers. Customers can easily understand what they’ll earn on each purchase, which encourages repeat ordering and more predictable engagement.
Your customers can only earn Local Cash rewards:
From businesses they follow that participate in Neighborhoods on Cash App.
By scanning your Cash App online ordering profile QR code on the POS during checkout to follow your business and join the Local Cash rewards program.
On eligible in-store orders, on web orders, or pickup or delivery orders placed through Cash App.
You pay only when customers redeem Local Cash at your business, and never more than the amount of Local Cash earned at your business that month.

Monitor your customers’ earned and redeemed Local Cash rewards.
Your customers can do the following from Cash App:
View their Local Cash reward balance and exactly how much they’ll earn on each order during checkout.
Check how and where they can redeem Local Cash from businesses in the neighborhood.
Track their earned Local Cash from the Neighborhoods tab.
