With Square Kiosk you can customize the look of your device to match your business’ brand. Square Kiosk’s display gives you more branding options than standard point of sale devices, including custom colors, logo placement, and attractive screen design.
If you’re looking for information about the iPad-based self-service kiosk, this has been renamed to Square Stand with the Square Kiosk Lite app. Learn how to configurar Square Kiosk Lite.
Before you begin
Display settings can be configured directly on your Square Kiosk device.
If you need to manually put the display to sleep or wake it up, press the device power button once.
Purchase and use of the new Square Kiosk requires an active Square Plus or Premium subscription. Subscribers on other plans will be able to continue to use their existing Square Stand models with their existing plan. While Square Kiosk is not currently available with legacy pricing plans, such as Restaurants POS Plus or Premium, please reach out to your Account Manager for help with Square Kiosk order and setup.
Set up Square Kiosk display settings
- Swipe down from the top right edge of the screen, then enter your employee pin to access settings.
- Select Brightness.
- Use the slider to adjust to the desired setting.
- Toggle Auto-brightness on to let Square Kiosk adjust based on ambient light.
