Important changes to your Square Online coupons
About the changes to your Square Online coupons
Beginning August 2024, you will manage your coupons from one central location – Square Marketing – for use across your Square Online site and Square Marketing campaigns.
Here’s what’s changing:
New coupons: Any new coupons need to be created in Square Marketing, not your Square Online dashboard.
Existing coupons: For coupons created in Square Online, most coupon types will be automatically migrated to Square Marketing.
Coupon changes: Some coupons will work differently after the migration. Other coupons will no longer be supported and need to be updated before they can migrate.

Before you begin
Be sure to review any emails you’ve received from Square about these changes to see how they apply to your account and the date they take effect.
Coupon status
Each of your Square Online coupons will be given a status based on how similarly it will function in Square Marketing. Once the migration is complete, we will notify you in Square Online which of your coupons need attention.
