Square hardware financing is a flexible payment option allowing you to purchase Square hardware and pay for it in monthly instalments. Square hardware financing gives you a flexible way to make sure that you get the hardware you need for your business. You can pick the option that works best for your budget and business.
An authorised user on your Square account, or an authorised person acting on your behalf, may apply.
Before you begin
You can apply for Square hardware instalments on orders between $59 to $5,000, interest-free. If your Square Shop cart is under $59, this is not eligible for hardware instalments.
Depending on your order total, you’ll see repayment options at checkout for 3, 6, or 12 months.
All applications are subject to approval. During the application process, we run a soft credit inquiry, which doesn’t affect your credit score. If your application is declined or if you decide not to pay in instalments, there’s no impact to your credit score.
We’re unable to approve every application. We’ll notify you via email immediately if your application is declined and give you the reason(s) why.
Apply for Square hardware financing
You can apply for Square hardware financing from Square Shop:
Sign in to your Square account on Square Shop.
Select your hardware, click Buy now, and make any other additions to your cart.
From your cart, navigate through the checkout flow like normal until you reach the Payment stage—you should see the options to Pay in full or Pay in instalments.
Select Pay in instalments > See plan options.
Select an installment plan > Continue to application.
Provide your details and click Submit application.
If your application is successful you should see the option to provide your payment details and complete checkout.
