Track vendor sales from your Square Dashboard

About vendor sales

The Vendor Sales report allows you to view which items are sold in a given time frame, sorted by vendor. By selecting a date range and filtering by vendor, you will have an accurate look at how each of your vendors are performing, as well as additional insights for each item sold.

Before you begin

The Vendor sales report is a feature available with Square for Retail Plus and Premium. Learn more about the differences between Square for Retail Free and Square for Retail Plus.

Track vendor sales

To track your item sales sorted by vendor for a specific location:

  1. Sign in to your online Square Dashboard, then go to Reporting > Reports.

  2. Select Inventory Reports > Vendor Sales.

  3. Use the date selector in the top-left corner to choose the date range you’d like to view, or enter custom dates.

  4. Select the location(s) you’d like to see if you have more than one location.

Identify missing vendors

To identify missing vendors from your historical adjustments:

  1. Sign in to your your online Square Dashboard, then go to Items & orders > Items > Inventory management > History.

  2. Click Add Vendor.

  3. Enter the appropriate vendor to Vendor Name in the Receive Detail pop-up.

  4. Click Save.
