About barcode printers and label sizes
With Square for Retail Plus or Premium, you can create and print barcode labels from your Square Dashboard or the Square Retail POS app on a compatible iOS device (including a connected Square Stand) or Square Register.
Before you begin
Zebra barcode printers are compatible with Square for Retail.
The Zebra ZD410 requires a label roll with a 25 mm diameter core. For the Zebra ZD410, make sure to purchase a direct thermal paper label.
If you’d like your labels to contain a scannable barcode, make sure your items have a SKU assigned to them. Learn how to Automatically generate SKUs.
