Edit items with Square for Franchises
About item creation
With the price editor, your or your franchisees can view and update item prices for all of their locations from one place. You can edit individual items across locations or edit items in bulk.
Variation groups are used to manage varying prices across menus. A variation group is a group of items that are considered as versions of an item. For example, you can create options for sizes, like small, medium, or large. Store items connected to the variation group can have their own prices and their own menu connection, but they are stored and managed from the variation group page.
Before you begin
You can create items from your Square Dashboard, Square Retail POS app on iOS, or Retail POS app on Square Register or Square Terminal.
