Edit Items Across Locations with Square for Franchises

With the price editor, your or your franchisees can view and update item prices for all of their locations from one place. You can edit individual items across locations or edit items in bulk.

Edit individual items

1. Sign in to your Square for Franchises dashboard and click Operations.

2. Click Items and select an item for which you want to enable the price editor.

3. Under Display Settings, click Manage display settings in specific stores. 

4. The price editor shows the franchisee locations where the item is available. From here, you can update the Item Name, Orderability, and Price. You can also Delete existing items or Restore deleted items.

5. Click Update replicas.

Edit multiple items across multiple locations

1. Sign in to your Square for Franchises dashboard and click Operations.

2. Click Items and select the item for which you want to enable the price editor.

3. All of your locations with that item show in this view. If you have location groups, the price editor shows your locations by location group. To update item information for multiple locations at once, click the checkbox for the locations you want to update. If you select a location group, all stores in the group are included. 

4. Click the Actions menu and select Update price, Update title, Update orderable online, or Revert to Central menu settings. Any changes you make apply to each location you selected.

5. Click Update & Save.
