Set Up Gift Card Orchestration with Square for Franchises
Sellers using Square for Franchises cannot access or edit Gift Card Orchestration. To set up or make changes to Square for Franchises gift card orchestration, contact an Implementation Specialist or Square Support.
Gift card orchestration is for franchise organisations that reside within multiple Square accounts but want to allow customers to use gift cards across all franchise locations.
Note: Once all of the locations have been selected, the orchestrator will begin processing all gift cards. As an example, this process can take approximately 25 to 30 minutes for ~2,000 gift cards to be replicated from two different Square merchants.
View gift card orchestration reports
The Square for Franchises dashboard includes a report that reflects the amount owed between Franchisors and Franchisees, as well as between Franchisees. Depending on where the Gift Card was purchased whether it is at the main Franchisor location or one of the Franchisee locations, the earnings from the transaction made with a Gift Card is owed to the location in which the Gift Card was purchased.
From your Square for Franchises dashboard, select Merchant Level.
Click Reports > Franchise Reports.
Select Gift Cards to view your report.
