About the changes to your Square Online order manager

Starting in January 2024, the current order manager found on your Square Online Overview page will be replaced with the Square Order Manager in Dashboard. Nothing will change about the way you manage online orders using any Square mobile apps or hardware.

Before you begin

To manage online orders, make sure to have access to either your Square Dashboard or Square Point of Sale.

Understand the changes

Historically, Square has had two places to manage orders: Orders in your Square Online Overview page and Orders in your Square Order Manager. While orders from Square Online have always fed into your Square Order Manager, some features and functionality were only available in Square Online. We’ve now added those features and functionality to Square Order Manager as well, so you can manage all of your orders from one place.

Features available in Square Order Manager enable you to:

  • print professional packing slips for deliveries

  • Change the collection time of orders and notify customers

  • Mark orders as complete in bulk

  • Export orders to a spreadsheet

  • Load order details more quickly
