Set Up Delivery Areas and Rates with Square Online

If you’re selling physical items in your store, you’ll need to decide which locations you will deliver to and how much to charge. There are several different delivery options to choose from depending on what your needs are.
To get started with delivery:
Go to your Square Online Overview page.
Select Fulfilment > Delivery.
Confirm the Delivering from address. If you’re delivering from a different location, click Edit Address and Save your changes.
Types of Delivery Rates
Which one should you choose? It depends on what you’re delivering. Here’s a quick overview of the options.
Note: Digital and Service type items do not count toward order price, weight or quantity.
Create a Delivery Profile
A delivery profile is a combination of settings that control where and how you’ll deliver your items. There are two types of delivery profiles: default and customised. The default delivery profile applies to all your deliverable items except those included in a customised profile. A customised delivery profile lets you set unique delivery rates and regions for specific items.
Note: You can set up multiple default delivery profiles as long as the location information such as states, prefectures, provinces and countries is unique to each profile.
To set up a default delivery profile:
Go to the Square Online Overview page and select Fulfilment > Delivery.
Click Set Up under ‘Delivery Profiles’.
Enter a name for the new delivery profile. Your customers won’t see this name.
Under Type, select Default.
Choose the countries you’ll deliver to in the ‘Delivering To’ menu. You’ll be able to select specific states or provinces later. Note that you can’t add a location to multiple default delivery profiles.
Click Add rate and choose an option from the dropdown menu.
Enter a name for this rate that your customers will see (e.g., Priority Mail).
Enter an amount to set the price for this rate.
Save when you’re finished.
