Get funding with YouLend through Square

About YouLend and Square

Square entered into a partnership with YouLend, which offers merchant cash advances and/or loans to eligible sellers in Spain, France and Ireland. This partnership allows YouLend to provide eligible Square sellers with access to funding based on Square transaction history.

If eligible, you’ll receive a loan or merchant cash advance offer via Square email, from where you’ll be redirected to a YouLend-hosted page to view offer details. Please note that YouLend handles eligibility determination, funding, plan agreements and plan servicing management.

Before you begin

  • Eligibility is determined by YouLend based on various processing factors. Please contact YouLend for questions around eligibility and funding acceptance.

Apply for YouLend funding

If YouLend determines that you’re eligible, you’ll receive an email alert from Square that will direct you to YouLend’s application website. From there, you can follow YouLend’s prompts to view any offer details, view action items and submit any applications.

Please note that, in order to access YouLend funding, you may be required to update your linked bank account details on the Square Dashboard. To do so: 

  1. YouLend will provide you with virtual IBAN details.

  2. Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Settings > Money > Bank accounts.

  3. Update your bank account details to the virtual IBAN provided by YouLend.

  4. Your daily Square processing will continue as normal, but funds will be sent to the virtual IBAN moving forward.

  5. YouLend will automatically service your plan using the virtual IBAN, in accordance with your agreement.
