Instant Transfer Unavailable Troubleshooting
There are a few possible reasons why instant transfers might be currently unavailable. Here are some troubleshooting tips.
Choose the Right Transfer Amount
Instant transfers are unavailable if you try to transfer an amount that is outside the minimum or maximum limit. You can use instant transfers to send funds of at least £50, after Square’s processing fees, to your bank account.
Square is unable to instantly transfer single payments that are larger than £2,500. The maximum amount you can transfer instantly per day is £2,500.
Note: New sellers may be restricted from using instant transfers until they have sufficient account history. As you run and grow your business with Square, instant transfers may become available.
See if Your Account is Under Review
We regularly monitor your transactions to keep your account safe. When our system notices something that appears to be out of the ordinary, we suspend transfers to your bank account until we can make sure everything is all right. This suspension will make instant transfers unavailable until our review is complete. We usually try to complete these reviews within 1 working day. If we need more information to get your transfers moving again, we’ll get in touch with you by email.
