Instant Deposit Unavailable Troubleshooting

There are a few possible reasons why Instant Deposit might be currently unavailable. Here are some troubleshooting tips.

Choose the Right Deposit Amount

Instant Deposit is unavailable if you try to deposit an amount that is outside the minimum or maximum limit. You can use Instant Deposit to send funds of at least £50 after Square’s processing fees to your bank account.

Square is unable to Instant Deposit single payments that are larger than £1000. The maximum amount you can deposit instantly per day is £1000.

Note: New sellers may be restricted from using Instant Deposit until they have sufficient account history. As you run and grow your business with Square, Instant Deposit may become available.

See if Your Account is Under Review

We regularly monitor your transactions to keep your account safe. When our system notices something that appears to be out of the ordinary, we suspend deposits to your bank account until we can make sure everything is alright. This suspension will make Instant Deposit unavailable until our review is complete. We usually try to complete these reviews within 1 working day. If we need more information to get your deposits moving again, we’ll contact you by email.
