Square Marketing Pricing
Square Marketing and Customer Engagement subscriptions are based on the number of subscribed customers (the customers you could reach via email) in your Customer Directory. Pricing is based on the following tiers:

When sending marketing campaigns, a customer will be considered subscribed if they have a visible email address in your Customer Directory (i.e. when a customer’s email address is manually entered into their profile) and have explicitly subscribed to your marketing programme and their email has not bounced. Email addresses for customers that have expired or bounced will automatically be excluded from your directory groups and filters.
When a customer’s email address is unsubscribed or bounces, the email address will not be removed from your Directory, but it will no longer be included in your Marketing filters and smart groups.
Square keeps track of your Subscribed customers in your Customer Directory. At any time, you can visit the Directory to see how many subscribed customers you have.
Managing Your Subscribed Customers
To manage the number of subscribed customers in your directory, you can do the following:
Visit your Customer Directory and click Resolve Duplicates to fix any duplicate contacts that may exist.
Review your directory for any old, empty or unused customer records, and delete them.
