Your online Square Dashboard gives you access to the tools you need to manage your daily business operations. See how your business is doing with advanced reporting tools, manage shifts and team members and create marketing campaigns that help you stay in touch with customers – all in one place.
The Home section of your online Square Dashboard provides a quick look at the status of your business through sales metrics. You can view sales data updated in real time. Hover over the data to expand the details or click the widget to go to the Reports section of your Square Dashboard.
The net sales widget provides an overview of your gross sales, average sale, number of transactions and amount of returns over a period of time. Click the drop-down menu to adjust the report timeframe. This widget also compares today’s sales with the previous sales made on the same day last week and displays the comparison percentage next to the total sales. Click the widget to go to the Reports section of your Square Dashboard.
The payment types widget displays the amount of gross sales per payment type, including card, cash and other. Click the drop-down menu to adjust the time period displayed. Hover your mouse over the chart for more details, or click the widget to view your full payment type sales summary report.
Items are displayed from lowest to highest amount sold based on gross sales. Hover over the graph to display the item name and amount of sales. Click the drop-down menu to adjust the time period displayed. Click the widget to view your full item sales report.
The categories widget displays the amount of sales within each of your item categories. If your items are not assigned to a category they will display as “Uncategorised.” Click the drop-down menu to adjust the time period displayed. Click the widget to view your full item sales report.
The customers widget displays seven different statistics over the last 30 days: Total number of customers, New customers, Returning customers, Average spending per visit, Average visits per customer and Positive and Negative Feedback provided by customers. Click the drop-down menu to adjust the time period displayed. Click the widget to view customer insights in the Customer Directory section of your Square Dashboard.

Account & Settings
Account & Settings in your online Square Dashboard is where you can manage your personal account information, business information and place an order for Square hardware and marketing material.
Personal Information: Manage your account email address, phone number and enable security features that prevent unauthorised access.
Bank Accounts: Manage bank accounts across locations.
Email Notifications: Tell us what emails you’d like to receive from Square and add more recipients.
Authorised Representatives: Add people who are authorised to contact Square Support on behalf of your business regarding sensitive account information and transaction details.
Locations: Create and manage multiple locations for your business. Set bank details, hours and more.
Pricing & Subscriptions: View and manage your subscription services, view monthly bills and update your preferred payment method.
Receipt: View and manage your receipt appearance, public information and return policy.
Tax Forms: Update your taxpayer information and view 1099-K Forms.
POS Devices: Set up device codes that sign you into the Square app instead of using your email and password.
Information requests: Set up your business profile to help us spot unusual activity on your account and better protect your income.

With Square Online, you can create a professional website to showcase your items online and accept payments with Square. Spend less time setting up your online store and more time focusing on your business.

If you’ve set up Square Online, you can manage pickup and shipping orders for each of your active locations.
Get insights on what’s driving sales, how customers are paying and fees paid from your Reports tab:
Reports: Access general sales summaries and fees paid, create custom reports and view reports on sales trends, accepted payment methods, items sold, etc.
Disputes: View, manage and get updates on any disputes you may receive.
Activity Log: Track sensitive actions taken by your team – such as processed refunds, updates to item inventory, comps/voids, changes to tip settings and discounts.
Manage and edit your team’s hours right from your online Square Dashboard.
