Cash App’s approach to security is designed to protect both you and your data. For your protection, all payment information is passed through Square, encrypted and submitted to our servers securely, regardless of whether you’re using a public or private WiFi connection or a data service on your phone (such as 3G, 4G or EDGE).
Snapcash will no longer be available after August 30, 2018.
What happens to the money I sent on Snapcash?
Any Snapcash sent before that August 30, 2018, will be deposited, as long as the recipient has a valid debit card connected to their account.
What if my friends sent me Snapcash, but I haven’t linked my debit card?
If you were sent Snapcash before August 30, 2018, just link your debit card to your Snapcash account within 48 hours to receive the money. If you don’t link your card within 48 hours, the money will be returned to the sender’s bank account.
Will I still be able to view my transaction history?
Your Snapcash transaction history will still be available in Settings > Snapcash until September 30, 2018.
