Have questions about breastfeeding? If you are trying to work out some minor breastfeeding challenges and want some tips and direction this session will meet those needs. Birth Planning
Have a CAPPA Certified Labour Doula aide you in creating a birth plan. I will go through all of your options. The birth plan will cover potential inductions, labour, vaginal birth, cesarean birth, and immediate postpartum. You can take the completed plan on paper with you or I can email you a beautifully edited version that you can print and use immediately.

Postpartum Planning Mini Session
So much time goes into planning birth. Often we neglect postpartum planning. As a CAPPA Certified Postpartum Doula with experience helping families navigate common postpartum challenges I will help you create a plan for postpartum! We will chat about how to create the best postpartum experience for you and your newest addition.

Planning a Cesarean Private Class
Thirty percent of women are having a cesarean. Many of those having a cesarean know ahead of time! This class is specifically geared towards families planning for a cesarean. Whether it is your first cesarean or you are planning a repeat cesarean and you want to create a more personal experience we have you covered! In this 2 hour class, we will cover what is involved in a cesarean, your potential options, and postpartum recovery! Private Breastfeeding Class
Can't make one of the group breastfeeding classes? We offer a private class as well! We will cover breastfeeding positions, latch, common challenges, building a support network, and more! This class is taught by Johanna Goetz a CAPPA Certified Labour and Postpartum Doula. Johanna is excited to share some of the tips and information she has acquired in over 3.5 years of supporting and educating breastfeeding women!

I am Johanna! I am a CAPPA Certified Labour and Postpartum Doula and a trained Childbirth Educator. My passion is supporting families through pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period. I believe in providing non-judgemental support to families and I work hard to help each family I work with finding the style of parenting that works best for them. I strongly believe in providing practical unbiased support to families so that they can feel confident in their ability to care for their growing families. As a mother of two living in Saskatchewan, I have always appreciated the sense of community we build here. That is something I try to bring to the families I work with. Bringing support and education to rural families is the cornerstone of my work. As a small town girl, I know how challenging it can be to have to travel great distances for services. I really believe in “going the extra mile” so that you don’t have to!
