What is a Lip Blush tattoo?

This “water color” lip technique will enhance the natural beauty of the lips by improving the lip color and definition. There are many colors to choose from ranging from natural tints to vibrant colors. Lip blush tattoo brings back your natural lip contour for a youthful appearance.

Lip blush tattoos are very natural and are meant to enhance the natural color and shape of your lips. No dark reds or unnatural colors will be used. The healed result will give a soft tint to the lips, so they are good for those lacking natural color. This technique is also good for creating defined borders for those who might have lost the definition over time. Peachy tones can be added to dark or blueish lips for a healthy glow and vibrant tone. Because lips shed often and contain a lot of fatty tissue, this technique will fade rather quickly compared to other parts of the face, especially in the frequently chapped areas of the lips. You will notice the lips become much lighter after a few years, so touchups are recommended to bring the color back. Because the tattoo will not lighten anyone’s natural lip color, this technique does not work well on very darker skin tones. Dark skin is also at a higher risk of hyper/hypo pigmentation, so lip blush is not recommended. However, if you have medium grey or light brown lips then peachy tones can be added to neutralize the grey and create a more pink lip color. If you are prone to cold sores then you must take a prescription of an antiviral (Valtrex) to avoid having an outbreak. Shaded eyeliner in Karina's signature technique will give you a soft & subtle wing that accentuates the shape of the eyes. This technique creates a beautiful winged eyeliner, but the shading keeps it soft and natural. It is best for large, open eyes with little to no wrinkles. You cannot tattoo a wing over wrinkles or folds because the creases will make the wing bend and appear off. Winged eyeliner tattoos are also NOT suitable on hooded eyes, monoid eyes, or eyes that are very uneven ( one droopy eye). Different result can be achieved depending on client's needs.

This technique is the most permanent of all permanent makeup techniques so make sure you are very committed to having a wing before choosing this technique. Because we use dark pigments on thin eyelid skin, this tattoo can last 5,10, or more years. The rich black/brown color will eventually fade to a very light grey over time. We use a combination of black and brown pigments to achieve a shaded look. We will not tattoo any other colors on the eyes.

It’s important to remember that all eyeliner tattoo techniques are subtle and may never completely replace cosmetic makeup. Eyeliner makeup sits on top of the skin, so it has a dark, bold appearance while the tattoo is going underneath the skin, so it is much softer. Even black tattoo ink will never look as dark as black eyeliner makeup. The healed result may replace daily eyeliner for those who wear minimal makeup or prefer more natural eyeliner. For those who prefer a bold liquid liner then this will act as a great tool for tracing your cosmetic makeup and make it ten times easier to apply.

Because the tattoo heals very soft it is not recommended on dark skin because not much of the tattoo will be visible. 

We do not offer any lower eyeliner tattoos. The water line is not able to be tattooed so the lower liner may end up giving a droopy appearance to the eye. 

*You must be off any eyelash growth serums (Latisse, Lash Boost, etc.) for at least 6 months before having your eyeliner tattooed. These serums make the eyelid very sensitive and prone to bruising/bleeding. If the skin bruises too much then the pigment will not be able to enter the skin due to swelling. You cannot be wearing eyelash extensions or contact lenses during your appointment. Minor swelling is normal and will subside within a few days. No eye makeup can be worn after your appointment for 7 days to prevent infection. Eyeliner tattoos are not available to those with medical eye problems (glaucoma).

Freckle tattoos work just like any other tattoo, whereby pigment is deposited below the skin. They can last anywhere from 6months-10 years with most people needing touch ups around the 12th month mark.

Immediately after the procedure the freckles appear darker and raised with some local redness. They will soften in color and also the edges will blur, leaving very real looking freckles.

This option gives you natural hair-like strokes at the head of the brows and transitions into a deeper pigmented shading technique. Results typically last up to 9 months longer than microblading alone. A manual hand tool, and digital tool is used to create this beautiful effect.

Powder or Ombre eyebrow tattoos give you a perfectly filled in brow so you may no longer need makeup. This tattoo can be made extremely soft and natural looking, or bold and defined. A combination can also be achieved to customize your look. This technique is done with a gentle rotary pen and causes no harm to the skin.

How does it work? Powder brows are essentially an entirely shaded brow giving the appearance of soft, natural makeup. This technique is done with a rotary tattoo machine specifically designed for the face, so the vibration is minimal. Only a single needle the size of an acupuncture needle is used to make tiny nano dots in the skin which build up to a soft shade. The machine rotates the needle in-and-out of the skin, so the pigment insertion is smooth and safe, unlike the scratching caused by microblading. Powder brows are very gentle on the skin, cause no trauma, and have very little restrictions. Powder brows do not have any hair stokes, but rather a smooth, soft, and shaded brow. Ombre brows are another name for powder brows. This term is used to describe the tattoo with more defined edges and a fade in the front of the brow area closest to the nose. Powder or ombre brows can be done as soft and natural, or as crisp and bold as the client wishes.

Maintenance? Powder brows can last about 2-5 years. Because powder brows are a smooth and even shade, they tend to just lighten, soften, and shrink over time for an easy fading period. Powder brows can be touched-up easily but we recommend allowing them a good amount of time between touch-ups to keep a natural result. This technique was designed to fade quickly (2-5 years) and this way you will never be left with any unwanted colors in 30 years!

Eyebrows tattooed elsewhere and now their eyebrows have faded to blue, grey, or red. I will use a color corrector to lighten Shade 3-4 layers using the desired corrector. Once the old tattoo has been neutralized to the desired level, I will finish the rest of the shading with the target pigment choice. Price may be more depending on how saturated the color
