Your Makeup 101 Lesson begins with a quick get to know you conversation where we take the time to find out who you are, your makeup personality (ie how you’re currently doing your makeup and how much time you’re interested in spending most days on it), and about how makeup needs to fit in with your lifestyle: are you active with sport? at an office? are you appearing frequently in front of cameras and video? are you retired and spending more time on the golf course and with grandkids? dry sensitive skin or eyes? Your unique circumstances matter and we take the time to listen and customize what we’ll teach you in your lesson. Experience a makeup lesson designed just for you, teaching you the skills and techniques you are interested in and need to understand in order to achieve the results you want. You’ll learn what shades are best for you and how and when to use the various beauty tools and products. Topics covered include: how to even out your complexion with concealer/foundations, how to help makeup last throughout the day, classic eye makeup techniques, eyebrow techniques, options for cheeks (blush/bronzer/highlighter/contour) and options for lips ranging from very natural to a more structured done lip. 

Cut through the overwhelm and confusion. Learn simple, straightforward effective makeup techniques to help you feel confident each and every day as you get yourself ready to step out into your day looking and feeling your most radiant, beautiful best.

The same basic lesson plan as for a Private Makeup Lesson (see for details), just with the time spread out over a few friends. Learn from each other’s questions and have some fun together.

First things first, congratulations on your engagement! Here at AF Makeup, we love, LOVE weddings. The friends, the family, the frocks, the locks, the flowers, and most importantly ( from our perspective ) ... the gorgeous, romantic wedding makeup. 

This makeup trial is our chance to experiment, to nail the look you’re after and to make sure it holds up perfectly after you leave. It also eliminates any guesswork on your wedding day and I’ll provide a few beauty tips to prepare your skin before the big day. You bring your Pinterest board, I’ll bring the makeup. 

Makeup Trials take approximately 75-90 minutes and take place at Prête Studio, my makeup studio located near Marda Loop. Book a trial before you book for your wedding or book as part of the package.

That's what this specialized lesson focusses on exclusively; how to choose lashes and most importantly, how to get them on so they're sitting properly, don't bug you and don't budge.

- 1 hour of instruction focussed exclusively on false lashes selected just for your unique eye shape and desired effect

- 1 set of AF Lash Out Lashes (yours to take home, easily re-usable up to at least a dozen or more times with proper care)

- 1 full size tube of Duo brand Lash Adhesive (yours to take home)

Learn hands-on how to:

- Understand the proper order of where false lashes fit into eye makeup

- Essential components of eye makeup to set you up for false lash success (for complete eye makeup how to lesson please see other makeup lessons offered)

- How to handle and size your false lashes

- Pro tips to applying the temporary adhesive so it grabs and doesn't come loose

- How to properly remove lashes and store them for many future uses

- You will practice applying and removing your lashes at least 3 times, we want you to have this figured out before you leave so you can confidently apply them whenever you like back at home to elevate your everyday look to a whole new level of glam.

Optional add-on available to record your lesson and send you a video link to support your learning and help jog your memory back at home ($45)

This 60 minute session supports you in sticking with forming your new makeup routines (change can be tricky!). And this is your chance to clarify any additional makeup or technique questions that surface when you're at home putting your new skills to practice. 

You'll arrive wearing your newly learned makeup look (showing off your great new skills!). Receive feedback, tips and pointers to further refine your technique and solidify your confidence, you've got this! 

Full service makeup and hair with a Team Prête artist. Service is offered in studio or on location for an additional travel fee of $70.

Manicures and Pedicures done to perfection utilizing the highest standards of hygiene and care. At Prête Studio we offer sport style (nail clean up no application of polish) / traditional air dry polishes / shellac (softer gel long-wearing polish) / hard gel (stronger gel long- wearing polish) plus a wide variety of styles of nail designs and art.

Price start at $85 and up (depending on complexity of style - most nail services are around $90, the more expensive options are when you add in building up more length of your natural nail with the hard gels if you want instant long glamorous nails!
