Last Week’s Storm Buried Sales at Local D.C. Businesses

Storm Jonas keep a lot of East-coasters holed up last week. And while we can’t account for their snowed-in online shopping habits (hunch: spike), we did see a lot less money pumped into local brick-and-mortars. Whether it’s because businesses closed or because customers were at home binge-watching Netflix, sales at neighborhood shops were significantly down in the D.C. area last week.
