Dear Clients,
2016, our first full year in business, was a tremendous
year for Running With Scissors. We cannot thank you enough for your loyalty,
support, and referrals as we have grown to serve more and more clients. When we
began this journey, we wanted to prove that you didn’t have to go to the salon
to get high-end hair services.
Our business has grown organically – from people just
like you, telling your friends, family, neighbors, etc. about how amazing and
hassle-free it is to have your high-end hair services done in your own home.
Throughout 2016, we realized this market was underserved – as we remain the
only high-end, premier mobile hair salon in Northern Virginia. We are hearing
more and more from stay-at-home moms, busy executives, seniors and their
families, and more who echo the same message: “more people need this service!”
Since I, Jackie, am the only stylist for Running With
Scissors, we knew that in order to serve more clients that so desperately want
or need this service, we needed to grow our team. After much thought, planning,
and prayer, we want to introduce you to our first additional stylist: Elly.
Elly is a masterful color artist with a keen eye for cutting, too. After
working for several high-end salons, Elly has most recently been an educator
for The Paul Mitchell School – teaching aspiring cosmetologists cut techniques,
color theory and chemistry, and more.
With Elly joining the team, we hope to serve more clients
than ever. Our goal is to bring high-end salon services to the comfort of home
for those who find it difficult to go to a salon, to keep them looking and
feeling their most beautiful.
