Yelp has been becoming more and more aggressive with forcing business owners to pay very high fees for advertising. Over the course of 9 years, Contour Room has been proud to have collected as many as 98 honest and hard earned excellent reviews due to you, our loyal customers, and we greatly appreciated each and every one of those.
About two months ago, we have decided to stop paid ads on yelp, and reinvest these funds in new technology - the CooLift, Oxygeneo and Dermatue. As soon as a week later, we have been losing reviews on our yelp page; within less than two months Yelp’s “algorithm” has “filtered” over 30 honest reviews. It’s a huge loss and we are truly saddened by this unethical tactic of yelp.
We are asking you kindly to continue to support our business and hopefully find the time in your day to write a few words on our yelp page. For small businesses advertising costs can be very high and many times it’s what drives the price of treatments higher. We pride ourselves on keeping prices low as we believe these type of services should be available to general public and not something that will break your bank.
