5:00 pm – Thirdsday!  It’s a Fiber thing…

It’s a Fiber Thing!! On the third Thursday of each month we extend our hours until 8pm to invite spinners, knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers, needle felters and more to come in and join us for a time of relaxation and fun! We typically have pizza and drinks at a low $5 price for those who need a bite of dinner. Come and join us!!

6:30 pm – Beginning Knitting 101 Basics (Pt. 2):  

Angela Childress of That’s StitchTastic will be teaching beginning knitting. Cost of $40.00 includes personal instruction, a pattern, and two separate classes.

11:00 am – Hooked on Fibers, Crochet Club: 

We have kicked off a “Crochet Along” club geared toward beginners who want to expand their crochet skills under the direction of Deborah Broome. This month's project is the Skull Shawl. Cost is $15.00 (FREE if yarn purchased here at Get Stitchin') and includes pattern and personal instruction; you will get 15% off materials.

11:00 am – Quick Accessories for the Holidays (Cowl):

We are going to have some neat ideas to help beginner knitters and crocheters make wonderful accessories for Christmas gifts.  This week we have a neat, sparkly cowl using 2 balls of Lana Gatto Bright yarn. The cost is $20.00 and covers personal instruction, yarn and pattern.

1:00 pm – J2 Sock Club:

Janet and Juanita come up with beautiful projects using Sock Yarn. They not only make socks but also use sock yarn for unique, beautiful shawls/shawlettes. This month we are following up on last month's project and have a sneak peek into next month's project.

1:00 pm – Basket Weaving class, with Special Guest Nancy Mercer of Kansas:

You will learn to make hanging baskets for the Holidays! Nancy Mercer will teach you the basics of making your very own basket; plus, she will have extra supplies for you to purchase to make even more baskets after class!! You can choose from either the Star of David or the Christmas tree. This class is FULL, but stop on by and welcome our special guest.

1:30 pm – Kids Beginning Knitting:

Angela Childress of That’s StitchTastic will be teaching Kids Beginning Knitting classes. Kids will learn the fundamental basics of knitting and will gain the skills needed to start making fun things right away. Parents are encouraged to stay and learn with their children.
