Have you heard? The weather forecasters are saying fall-like weather will be here this weekend. They have predicted rain for this Saturday, and we predict fall yarns in our shop! In fact, our newest yarn, from Cestari Sheep and Wool Company, has arrived and will be on the shelves in time for the weekend. These beautiful yarns are made from sheep that are raised by Cestari Sheep and Wool Co. and the cotton is grown in Virginia. PLUS!!! We have Natural 100% Lanolin!!! My cuticles are thanking me!!

5:00 pm – Thirdsday! It’s a Fiber thing…

On the third Thursday of each month we extend our hours until 8pm to invite spinners, knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers, needle felters, and more to come in and join us for a time of relaxation and fun! GUESS WHAT! It was 3 years ago this month that we started Thirdsday! This month I am celebrating with FREE pizza and drinks, as long as they last. 11:00 am – Wet Felted Collar Class

Leigh Abernathy will drive in from Arkansas to teach us the beautiful art of wet felting collars. They look majestic and will add that special swag to any wardrobe. 1:00 pm – Janet’s Workshop, Part 1 of 3

Janet has completed a caplet and is excited to show you how to make one for yourself. This workshop is geared toward the intermediate knitter. If you can knit, purl, read and utilize patterns, this is the perfect workshop for learning to knit a beautiful fall caplet. Click here for more information…

We are also planning two Fall Break Classes for Kids.  
The first one class is Thursday, October 18th, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.  Angora Jane, Jane Deason, is going to show kids how to make felted soap. 
The second class is Friday, October 19th, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Angora Jane is going to show kids how to make felt. Once felt is made, they can decorate and make small gifts.
This will be great for kids to make holiday gifts!! Age range: 8 years and up. Seating is limited, so call us, 918-481-1055, to reserve your child's seat today...
