One Hour Private Lesson

Learn the fundamentals of learning to care for these incredible animals, and then saddle up for intensive instruction to learn how to safely and correctly ride, while having lots of fun! One hour lessons include about 15 minutes of getting your horse ready and taking care of them afterwards and about 45 minutes of riding. One Hour Group Lesson

Bring a friend or a few for a group lesson. Learn together how to care for your horse and have a blast riding together. Trail Ride

Approx 45 mins of riding time Trail rides are offered throughout our 24 acre pasture and wooded property and also in the surrounding area on our beautiful East Texas back roads. 225 lb weight limit applies. One rider per horse. Limit 4-5 riders depending on size/age/skill level. Please call for specific situation if more. PLEASE include in comments: every rider’s name, age, and experience level to be confirmed for your appointment. Long pants and boots with a heel recommended. Rebecca Hanna

REBECCA'S SCHEDULE IS FULL FOR 2022! Trainer Rebecca Hanna's passion for the equine industry and love of horses began at the age of seven when she first sat on a horse. Since then, she has been riding and competing in hunters, jumpers, dressage, and western disciplines for over 20 years. She has owned several young horses and has assisted in transforming them into successful competitive mounts. She has shown multiple horses throughout the years in several disciplines, consistently earning championships in her divisions. Rebecca has trained under multiple respected equestrian professionals, including Shelby Graham, Kim Brunson, and Paula Morris. She has participated in and audited intensive training clinics with Bernie Traurig, George Morris, and Anne Kursinski. Rebecca graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2013 with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. She graduated from All Saints Episcopal School in Tyler, Texas.

Rowan Sanders

Rowan Sanders is a classically trained dressage rider who has been riding, training, and showing for over 30 years. She is educated in over 15 different riding disciplines including dressage, hunter, jumper, reining, western pleasure, trail (obstacle), barrel racing, and liberty training. She has a special talent for bringing along young horses and horses who need a little extra human kindness and understanding due to a rough past. Rowan's education includes several years working with veterinarians and farriers, as well as many years working for and with top trainers and instructors. Her focus is always on the well being of both the horse and rider, making sure both safely reach their goals and continue to live their best lives with the best education possible. Rowan primarily teaches our Intermediate - Advanced Riders!

Samantha Nyhus

Samantha has been a horse trainer and riding instructor for 10 years. She has worked with riders of all ages in the areas of barrel racing, ranch riding, western pleasure, hunters, and jumpers. Several of her personally trained horses have qualified for National Barrel Horse Association World Championships, and several of her students have competed in World and various rated shows in both the English and Western disciplines. Samantha trained extensively under Barb Wagner for Barrel Racing, who has qualified multiple times for the National Finals Rodeo. She has also trained under Bill Payne, who was honored as the Blue Ridge Hunter Jumper Association Horseperson of the Year twice. Samantha is passionate about developing a solid foundation for riders and horses to excel in any discipline. Samantha attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina, and also has experience as a barn manager, veterinary technician, and dog trainer!

Tonia Castaneda

Tonia has trained extensively under Head Trainer Rebecca at RH Equestrian since 2018. Over the years, they have developed a passion for equine care and behavior and continuing to improve their level of knowledge and expertise. They have received top awards at shows they have attended in the areas of Hunters and Equitation. They are constantly pursuing growth as a rider and teacher and look forward to sharing their knowledge and joy with you. Tonia teaches beginner - intermediate English and Western riding lessons and is accepting new students!
