Brandon Hairston

Originally from Charlottesville, VA Brandon attended and played baseball at Norfolk State University. A career .328 collegiate hitter (207/630) he left NSU in the top 10 in many offensive categories and is NSU’s all time fielding percentage leader at a .987 clip. After college Brandon played 1 season of independent baseball ball in the Frontier League for the Schaumburg Boomers in Schaumburg, Illinois. After returning home Brandon began coaching and giving lessons and has been a staple at NBA since 2014. Additionally Brandon coaches Varsity Softball at Granby High School.

Kris Artis

Kris is a Norfolk, VA native and owner of KA9 Academy. Kris was a Granby High School standout who later signed to play at Old Dominion University. Kris’s college career spanned from ODU to Pitt Community College to Norfolk State University.

Michael Falzarano

Michael played High School Baseball at Granby High before finishing his collegiate career playing at PDCC. After graduation, Mickey quickly joined the coaching circuit. He spent a year at Maury High School before switching to Granby at the start of the 2022 season. He is currently the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team and assists in many different areas of the Varsity Program. In his first year, Mickey helped lead the Comets to their first ever VHSL State Baseball Semi-Finals appearance.

Rufus Hurdle

Rufus is a graduate of Western Branch High School where he helped lead the team to a 6A State Championship; earning All-State honors along the way. Rufus has played collegiately at Paul D. Camp College, Ferrum College and Claflin University. He has a career .290 batting average at the JUCO, D3 and D1 Level.

Tyler Morgan

Former Division I, left handed pitcher at Norfolk State University. Currently teaching and coaching high school baseball in Chesapeake Public Schools. Specializes in pitching but can instruct hitting and fielding as well.
