Getting Started with the Weebly App for iOS
The Weebly app gives you the freedom to build and manage a fully-functional website right from the palm of your hand. Whether you’re a power user or just starting out, this article will get you started using the app. The first step is to download the free app from Apple’s App Store. Once you’ve installed the app on your device, you can create a brand new account or log into an existing account if you already have one. The Weebly app is divided into five main sections: Home, Insights, Store, Website, and Account. We’ll go over each section in this article.
The Home screen provides a quick look at recent traffic for your website and any outstanding orders from your online store. Tap on any item on the Home screen to view more information. Occasionally, you may see account notifications on the Home screen.
Note: You may not see this information right away if your account is new or you haven’t quite gotten your site up and running yet.
Insights contains detailed statistics about your website for a specific date range. The first display you’ll see is a brief overview of visits and sales. Use the calendar icon on the upper right to change the time frame or enter a specific date range. Tap on Traffic or Sales at the top to view the details for these individually. Swipe left on the cards below the graphs to see additional data. Learn more about Insights here.
On the Store screen you can view and manage orders, items, coupons and basic settings for your store. Tap the items card to view and edit existing items, or create a new item using the plus icon in the upper right. Similarly, tapping the Coupons card will allow you to view, edit, and create coupons. Tap Settings to change the display and general settings for your store.
The Website screen is where you’ll go to view and edit your website. Here you can also see any contact form entries you’ve received and change the title of your site via the Settings link. Tap the Edit Site button to open your website in the editor. You can create pages, add text, images and more, then publish your site whenever you’re ready.
