What is a Cash Boost?

Cash Boost is a rewards program that allows you to receive instant cash back when you make a purchase at some of your favorite merchants using your Cash Card.

How many Boosts can I use at a time?

You will be able to have one active Boost at any given time.

How often can I swap my active Boost?

When you use a Boost for the first time, that boost will be locked to your account for a day.

If you’ve selected a boost, but haven’t used it yet - you can swap it out before it is used for the first time.

Note: When new Boosts are made available in the Cash app, you will be notified and you will be able to select new Boosts, regardless of the 1-day lock up period.

Do my Boosts expire?

Once a Boost is added to your Cash Card it doesn’t expire. An active Boost will be valid until you remove it from your card.

What if I Didn’t Receive my Boost?

If a Boost is missing from one of your purchases, you are able to submit it for review from the Cash App directly. To do so:

  1. Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the app.
  2. Tap on the clock icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Scroll and tap on the payment in question.
  4. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner and then tap Missing Boost.
  5. On the next screen tap Submit for Review.

Please note: You can submit a reimbursement request up to 7 days after completing the transaction.
