When you accept payments with the Square Register app, you can choose when to receive your funds through one of our fast deposit options. There are no deposit limits with our default deposit schedule. We won’t hold funds based on the amount, frequency, or type of transaction.
Receive your funds within one to two business days with Square’s default deposit schedule, Next Business Day.
Scheduled Deposit: Funds are automatically deposited to the bank account linked to your debit card at your close of day for a fee of 1% of the deposit total. You can use Scheduled Deposit on any day of the week, even weekends.
Instant Deposit: When you need your funds immediately, instantly send them to the bank account linked to your debit card for a fee of 1% of the deposit total.
Note: There’s a minimum deposit amount (after Square’s fees) of $50 for Instant Deposit and $25 for Scheduled Deposit. For both deposit types, you can send payments of up to $2,500.

Next Business Day Overview
When you activate your Square account, by default your deposit option will be Next Business Day. With this schedule, your funds are usually deposited within one to two business days of a transaction.
Scheduled Deposit Overview
If you routinely need your funds faster than one to two business days, Scheduled Deposit may be available to automatically deposit your funds at your close of day. Using a debit card, funds are sent to your linked bank account for a fee of 1% of the deposit total.

Sometimes you need your money immediately – that’s when Instant Deposit can help. If available, you can instantly send funds to your linked bank account using a debit card 24 hours a day, 7 days week, for a fee of 1% of the deposit total.
