Get Rewarded when you Sign Up for Square with a Friend’s Referral Link

Sign up for Square through a friend’s referral link and we’ll reimburse the processing fees on your first $1,000 of card sales. You’ll see fee reimbursements grouped with each deposit for the first 180 days. After that, it’s just 2.65% per swipe.

Once you sign up with your friend’s referral link, you will need to process at least one payment of $1 or more with Square in order to obtain the free processing reward, which will be automatically applied to your account. 

View Your Referrals and Rewards

You can view your available and claimed rewards, share your unique referral link and review free processing details from both your Square Point of Sale app and your online Square Dashboard.

• From your Square Point of Sale app, tap  ≡ More > Referrals & Rewards

• From your online Dashboard, navigate to Account & Settings > Get Free Processing. From this page, you can also add your referral link to your receipts by toggling on Add your referral link to Square Receipts.

You can check your remaining free processing balance in-app or from your online Square Dashboard. From the Referrals page of your Point of Sale app, you can click on an individual reward to view the card transactions that your free processing reward has been applied. From the Get Free Processingpage of your online Square Dashboard, you can view your active rewards, the amount processed and past rewards.

Note: Once your reward is applied, you’ll see fee reimbursements grouped with each transfer Free processing credits are only valid for 180 days. Once your free processing is finished, standard fees for card sales will apply.
