Create your first Contract
By participating in the Square Contracts beta, you now have the ability to create and send contracts right from your Square Dashboard. You can customise any of the available contract templates to fit your unique business needs—empowering you to establish clear agreements with your clients or customers, obtain digital signatures, and avoid potential payment disputes.
To create a contract:
Select Contracts from your Home screen
You’ll be taken to the Contracts section. Select New Contract.
3. From there, you’ll select the template you’d like to use.
4. Fill in the details of your contract agreement, including Recipient information, payment information, and add any attachments.
5. If the recipient is new, you will be prompted to add them to your recipient list.
6. You will then select your clauses and sign the document.
7. Once complete select Share and select how you’d like to share. The two options are Email or Download PDF.
8. Once you make your selection, press Send. If it is sent via email, the recipient will be sent immediately. The status of the contract will change to in review.
