The Square UK referral promotion (The “Promotion”) is being promoted by Squareup Europe Limited, trading as “Square”. The purpose of the Promotion is to reward our customers for referring Square to other businesses who sign up to use Square payment services. Participants in the Promotion will be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- Eligibility. To refer a customer under the Promotion, you must be a Square customer who is a resident of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over.
- Duration. The Promotion is running from 20th March 2023 to 30th June 2023.
- How to refer. You can refer a prospective customer by getting their consent to provide Square with their information, and then providing details at this link. Once you have submitted details of a business you believe may be legitimately interested in working with Square (a “Prospective Customer”), one of our sales team will make contact with them to discuss Square with them.
- Successful referrals. Both you and the referred customer will receive a £200 voucher from Tremendous, if the Prospective Customer you referred:
(a.) Was not already referred to us, did not have an account with Square in the past 12 months, or was not already in the process of joining Square,
(b.) Successfully creates a new account with Square as a result of your referral within 12 months,
(c.) Complies with all Square account terms of service and any conditions applicable to their account, and
(d.) Processes at least £17,000 GBP in payments with Square within 30 days after activating their account.
General
(a.) You must not submit any referral information relating to an individual if you do not have that their consent to do so.
(b.) You consent to using your name and contact information to verify your participation in the Promotion.
(c.) Referrals must be for businesses or entities which are in no way affiliated or part of the referring customer.
(d.) Square reserves the right to modify, revoke or cancel the Promotion at any other time.
(e.) The Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.
(f.) Referrals which are provided to Square via another method other than the mechanism set out above are not eligible.
(g.) Void where prohibited, not redeemable for cash, and non-transferrable.
(h.) Square reserves the right to refuse to reward any referrals where there are reasonable grounds for believing the referral has not complied with these terms and conditions, has amounted to an abuse of the Promotion, or has involved misrepresentation or any breach of laws.
(i.) In the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials, these terms and conditions will prevail.
(j.) Square is not obliged to contact any referrals.
(k.) Square is not responsible for any errors or technical issues that may cause a referral to not be received or be delayed.
(l.) Any dispute arising in relation to the Promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
(m.) Square’s failure to enforce any of these terms or conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that promotion. The invalidity or unenforceability of any of these provisions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision in these terms and conditions
