MONTREAL, QC–May 16, 2014–With small businesses comprising 98% of Quebec’s economy, Square, the company helping businesses start, run, and grow is coming to Montreal to host Local Business is Beautiful. The event on May 28, 2014 at 5:30 PM at the Société des Arts Technologiques is designed to bring business owners together to collaborate, connect, and strengthen their communities. Square will invite owners of M3béton, The Cardboardbox Project, Kittel Coffee, and Frank & Oak for an in-depth discussion about small business growth and community collaboration.
“Montreal’s businesses are vital to the health of Quebec’s community and economy,” said Square’s business lead Francoise Brougher. “We’re thrilled to bring business owners together to discuss the passion for their craft as well as the challenges they face in starting and growing their business.”
“This community inspires us every day,” said Ethan Song, Cofounder and CEO of Frank & Oak. “We’re lucky to be part of a community and in a city that supports homegrown talent. Events like this are such a great way to learn from each other and foster and grow new relationships.”
