It’s no secret. We love local Canadian businesses. There’s something wonderful about watching Square sellers soar as they build their brands, learn from their mistakes and successes and follow their dreams to add value to the world. We also know that it can be an uphill battle. That’s why we work to help Canadian small business owners save time and money so they can focus on the fun parts of their work.
This summer we want to celebrate you and hear stories about how you use Square. So we’re running a contest — with a $1,000 grand prize! Anyone who enters and meets the contest criteria has a chance to win. Here’s what you need to do:
- Snap a photo that shows how you’re using Square in your business.
- Add a caption describing why you love using Square.
- Tag your post with #SquareTheLove and #contest.
- Share your post on Twitter or Instagram.
That’s it. So simple, yet the possibilities are endless. We’re looking forward to seeing Square Readers in action at crowded summer festivals and fairs; your personalized point-of-sale systems with the products you sell; your trusted Square operators in action, be they adults, children or pets; your Square Dashboards and the changes they inspired; and more. We want to see anything and everything our amazing and creative community can come up with — paired with stories of how Square has made a difference.
The #SquareTheLove contest runs from 9 p.m. Pacific time (PT) on July 23 to 9 p.m. PT on August 6. Entries will be judged on the quality, creativity and originality of the image and caption.
