With the summer just around the corner, we’re excited to be powering payments at some of the hottest events across Australia. Square’s mobile paymemt solutions provide a great solution for events of all sizes, whether you’re taking the odd payment at a farmer’s market or going completely cashless at a multi-venue festival.
This month we powered payments at Melbourne’s Fire Gardens, the Lucky Dumpling Festival in Adelaide, Sydney’s Lost Picnic and Oktoberfest Parklands in Canberra.

Get your holiday-themed Square eGift Cards
We’ve launched new seasonal designs for Square eGift Cards to help you provide a more personalized experience for your customers. Now you can pick which designs you want to display on your order page and start selling eGift Cards to your customers, wherever they are.
The FreshKDS 2.0 launch makes it even easier to eliminate ticket printers
Fresh KDS is a tablet-based kitchen display system, made just for Square customers, that displays current orders in real time. The new 2.0 update includes support for both Android and iOS, split screen view, and a new dashboard that provides complete control from a central location.

Finder’s Fee-Free Shop Campaign
This month, research by finder.co.au showed that 94% of Australian consumers are against card surcharges. With that in mind, they launched a campaign celebrating the businesses that don’t hit their customers with surcharges — the Fee-Free Shops. You can add your business to the map, get stickers to display in-store and more on their website.
