Introducing fast payments for field service pros with simPRO
We’re excited to announce a partnership with simPRO to provide fast, simple payment processing options to field service professionals. simPRO is a comprehensive software solution with features to simplify field service management for trade contracting businesses.
The Square integration with simPRO will provide field service businesses with an innovative mobile payment solution to help them get paid on the spot. Now simPRO users will have the ability to accept card payments at the time of service, receive funds as early as the next business day, and issue invoices from the field. Highlight featured products, services, and more with new section layouts in Square Online Store
We’ve added new section layouts to make it easy for customers to view and buy your featured goods without any extra navigation. Just go to your online store builder and add in one of the new sections: featured menu items, donations, memberships, and events. Learn more about Square Online Store.

Square Appointments is a flexible solution for all your booking and payment needs. It has a fully integrated point of sale, allowing you to sell items and services directly from an appointment. Gift cards are now available.
The holiday season is around the corner. Now you can order plastic gift cards for your business that work beautifully with Square Point of Sale. Purchase 20 packs, or order customised, brandable gift cards for your business.
Deposits are now called transfers
Starting in December all Square tools named deposits are now called transfers.
- Next-Business-Day Deposits are now next-business-day transfers.
- Depositing money to your bank is now transferring money to your bank.
Also, in your Dashboard and the Square app, the Deposits tab is now Balance.
You’ll see these changes roll out after December 3 when you update the Square app and in your Dashboard. That’s it—there are no other changes to your account.
